Rights and responsibilities of members of the ULPM
- The rights and responsibilities of members arise and terminate from the moment the
decision is made by the League Council. - Members of the League are individuals and legal entities (organisations) participating
in the activities of the League.
- Members are required to recognise and comply with the Statute of the ULPM.
- The Secretary of the League Council shall keep records of the League members on a
centralised basis.
Acquisition of membership in the NGO «ULPM»
Membership
Membership in the League is voluntary.
Admission of public associations and other legal entities (organizations) to the membership of the League
is carried out by the League Council based on a written application.
Admission of individuals to the membership of the League
is carried out by the League Council based on a personal written application of the applicant.
Members of the League may be:
- individuals – citizens of Ukraine;
- foreign citizens and stateless persons legally residing on the territory of Ukraine;
- public associations and other legal entities (organisations) properly registered in Ukraine.
To become a member of the League, individuals must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have a specialized or medical education;
- work in the field of medicine and/or related fields;
- recognize the Statute of the ULPM.
In order to become a member of the League, public associations and other legal entities (organizations) must:
be properly registered in Ukraine;
have a decision of the governing body of the public association – a legal entity that joins the ULPM;
recognize the Statute of the ULPM.
Acquisition of honorary membership of the ULPM
- Foreign citizens and stateless persons professionally engaged in medical activities or having specialized or medical education, who have achievements in the field of personalized medicine, may be elected as honorary members of the League without acquiring all the rights and obligations provided for by membership in the League.
- Honorary members are awarded a diploma of the title «Honorary Member of the Ukrainian League of Personalised Medicine».
Termination of membership of the NGO «ULPM»
- Exclusion from the League's members is carried out based on the decision of the League Council, in case of non-compliance with the provisions of the Statute and actions incompatible with membership in the League.
- The decision on exclusion may be appealed and sent for reconsideration.
- A member of the League may voluntarily withdraw from its membership by submitting a written application to the Secretary of the League. In this case, the membership will be terminated automatically upon receipt of the written application.
