ULPM was registered on 14 February 2019 as a public association that does not have the status of a legal entity.

NGO «ULPM» is a voluntary non-governmental organisation that unites legal entities and individuals whose activities are directly related to the healthcare system, research, educational and practical work in the field of medicine and related fields, including aesthetic medicine, cosmetology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutics, in the field of physical and medical rehabilitation, as well as legal entities and individuals engaged in food production, providing social services, etc.
The purpose of the ULPM is to promote the development of personalised medicine in Ukraine.
PERSONALISED MEDICINE (synonyms: precision, targeted, personalised, individualised medicine) is a modern concept of organising medical care for the population based on medical decision-making, use of practices, interventions, products for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, taking into account individual molecular genetics and other variable phenotypic characteristics of the organism, specific tissues and/or cells.
Currently, personalised medicine approaches are being actively implemented in many specialities of clinical and preventive medicine (gastroenterology, haematology, dermatology, endocrinology, immunology, infectious diseases, cardiology, medical genetics, neurology, nephrology/urology, oncology, ophthalmology, palliative medicine, psychiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, etc.)
Personalised medicine is an integral part of the innovative P5 model of future medicine, which has five interrelated components:

reducing the incidence of diseases by implementing preventive interventions that consider biological, ecological (“exposomal”), social and psychological aspects of human life.Participatory
